Quiet back to nature Adults only CL with level all-weather pitches, each with 16 amp electric, own water tap and grey waste – no carrying of water and waste! Owned by a caravanner of 25+ years who has taken his caravan all around the UK and as far afield as Czechoslovakia.

Three ponds and walkways between trees and shrubs for you and your dog if you have one. Wildlife in abundance – you will likely meet rabbits in the early morning and maybe the odd hedgehog. A little further afield you may find red squirrels. You may see water voles in our ponds as well as fish and frogs amongst the water lilies. In May/June you will see brightly coloured Mayfly’s dancing over the ponds. Of course if you are an early riser you may catch the Heron doing his daily visit. In the summer we have lots of songbirds including robins, wrens, thrushes, starlings, blackbirds and ravens amongst others, in the winter we still have some as well as visitors from overseas.

On clear nights you will see plenty of stars lighting up the horizon as we are a dark sky camp site. You may also hear the silent swish as either a Tawny or Barn owl swoops over. Perhaps see the occasional group of bats zooming this way and that.

The site is off the road with a 12 foot wide gate that we keep shut for your privacy and for a greater part of the year you can’t even see caravans from outside the site. Modern chemical waste disposal point. In 2020 we will be fitting out a shower room and toilet as well as a separate dog shower.

Close to Niwbwrch Beach and Red Squirrel Forest backing the beach with sand dunes up to 100ft high with tall trees standing off them.

• Lots of interest for those interested in archaeology and geology on the Island – from the site of the court of the original Welsh princes to Beaumaris Castle. The volcanic rock protrusions on Niwbwrch beach and further away Parris Mountain which is the remains of a volcano which once was the largest producer of copper in the world.

• Anglesey has miles of coastline with a coast walk. For the more energetic there is Kite surfing on Niwbwrch beach and sailing from Plas Menai. Boat trips from various towns on the Island including trips out to Puffin Island from Beaumaris.

• Further a field you can be in Snowdonia National Park with a 20 minute drive. Cog track trains to take you up the mountain from Llanberis and a narrow gauge railway running from Caernarfon to Porthmadog running around the base of Snowdon is also a super attraction. For those with a strong heart there is of course the Zip wire running at up to 100mph through underground caverns as well as tree walks on the main land.
